Financial statements

In 2017, consolidated turnover grew by a total of 0.7 percent to MEUR 316.5 (MEUR 314.4 in 2016). Consolidated profit was MEUR 15.8 (MEUR 16.3 in 2016). Total profit for 2017 was 5.0 percent of turnover (5.2 percent in 2016).

As a Finnish family company, Berner aims at balanced long-term operation and steady growth. The Group’s solvency and liquidity remained at an excellent level in 2017. The equity ratio was 74.5 percent (73.5 percent in 2016) and the current ratio 3.6 (3.5 in 2016). Return on invested capital was 12.9 percent (13.0 percent in 2016).

In 2017, the Group had an average of 521 employees (546 in 2016), of whom 50 worked in Sweden (50 in 2016) and 86 in the Baltic countries (115 in 2016).
